A teenage girl struggles in an unhealthy family environment, dominated by her mother's obsessive behaviour and her massive collection of mirrors that line the hallway, in every room and even in the yard. The girl is desperate to escape a family in crisis and a community in ruin. But after a fierce argument that almost ends in tragedy, she begins to see life differently. Then, a moment of inspired genius leads to an incredible endeavour, which slowly rebuilds her community and restores her family to something akin to normal.
